Assignments must be submitted when due. Failure to submit assignments on time will result in a grade of zero (0).
However, if received within one week of the due date, all assignments (except quizzes or tests) can be submitted with a 20% reduction in maximum grade.
After that, the grade is recorded as a zero for the assignment. Assignments can be resubmitted at any time until 1 week prior to the end of the marking period. All resubmitted material will be averaged with the prior grade and the new new grade recorded.
Bathroom passes will be issued every marking period. They carry a maximum extra credit value of 4 percentage points added directly to the final grade for the marking period. Failure to submit your passes on or before the date due will result in no extra credit given. Un-named pass sheets will not be given credit to anyone. Penalty for attending class late will be one bathroom pass. Two passes will be used if the student needs to leave the class but does not have their pass sheet with them.
